We partnered with Dream Impact and the social enterprise RIP88 to introduce the edutainment show, “Future Funeral,” focused on life and death education in Hong Kong.
This innovative program combines stand-up comedy with elements of education, using storytelling and reflection to engage audiences in important conversations about life and death education.
By blending entertainment with meaningful insights, we aim to promote awareness and understanding of spiritual and life education in Hong Kong.
What are your last wishes on Earth?
According to a study by the University of Hong Kong, nearly 70 percent of Hong Kong people are unfamiliar with the concept of “end-of-life care” — a type of healthcare given during the period before death — indicating a gap in education about life education and death issues in the city of Hong Kong.
Comedians and funeral planner were invited to share their perspectives on death: How would you plan your funeral? What are the possible options and procedures? What would be your last wishes? What is the meaning of life? How does your culture view death? Speakers from a diverse background shared their thoughts; audience of a young to old age laughed and reflected together.
